Research grounded in care.

Wild Kittens grew out of founder Dylan Moore's PhD research on AI agents at Dartmouth's EMPOWER Lab. Since 2023, his partnership with Memcara and long-term care facilities has connected fieldwork with tools built for caregivers and families.

CareInsights

That fieldwork led to CareInsights, an AI agent deployed to capture care observations and support staff caring for people living with dementia. Developed with seven facilities, it preserves resident knowledge that routine records often miss.

Family In The Loop

To bridge gaps between staff and families, Family In The Loop extended this work into shared care records, helping families contribute what they know and stay involved in daily care.

CareWare

Most recently, CareWare brought this approach to smart glasses, giving caregivers resident-specific guidance during music-based dementia care.

From fieldwork to evaluation.

Across these projects, the team has assembled a rich collection of expert-labeled video, electronic health records, family and caregiver notes, and on-screen events from Memcara's CareSuite music-based care platform. Wild Kittens turns this evidence into private evaluations that test agent outputs against source records and expert-reviewed criteria.

OSWorld 2.0, developed by researchers at the University of Hong Kong's XLANG Lab and collaborators, tests agents on complex workflows across computer applications. Wild Kittens addresses a related gap in care: evaluating how agents interpret records alongside the human interactions and physical context those records leave out.
